ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY, INC.
THE OMICRON KAPPA ZETA CHAPTER
The Omicron Kappa Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was chartered in 1991 to service College Park and the metropolitan Atlanta area. Since its chartering in 1991, the Omicron Kappa Zeta Chapter has been committed to the Sorority’s principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love and Finer Womanhood.
Scholarship: The chapter is the home of the Ola Hill Memorial Scholarship, named in honor of one of the chapter’s beloved charter members. The chapter also donates regularly to the Sorority’s National Education Foundation.
Service: In addition to our work with the Stork’s Nest program, the chapter continues to participate in the Sorority’s signature program, Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel through Mind, Body and Spirit). The chapter also collects and donates items to various organizations and schools in the metropolitan Atlanta area.
Sisterly Love: The chapter’s membership has a broad range of ages. Yet, chapter members are continuously supportive of each other’s endeavors, serving as cheering sections, sounding boards, helping hands and supportive shoulders.
Finer Womanhood: Realizing that a Finer Woman works toward the betterment of her self and her society, OKZ members continue to work tirelessly to enhance our own skills and experiences, while simultaneously enhancing the various organizations we serve and the Sorority we love. Chapter members serve in various leadership roles within and outside Zeta.
